Santa Clara Civic Center

Here, you are literally at the heart of the City of Santa Clara—and the center of the technology universe. In fact, the Mayor spends his days right next door at City Hall. As you wind your way through the streets, you’ll pass by headquarters of some of the biggest game-changers in technology, as well as lovely residential neighborhoods, and carefully curated commercial centers. It’s the perfect blend of urban and residential, of energy and solitude. We feel very lucky to be here, and hope you will too.

Our 26 contemporary one-and two-bedroom residences surround an open courtyard. In addition we have communal rooms and amenities onsite for residents to enjoy:

  • Gymkhanna
  • Media center
  • Beautiful Ayurvedic garden
  • BBQ/Tandoor island
  • Area for badminton and bocce
  • Wonderful weather
Warm. Sunny. Moderate. You can enjoy a cup of chai with friends outside nearly every day of the year.
  • Activities & programs
If you’re interested in learning, growing and exploring, you’ll fit right in. There is a lot going on each and every day.
  • Community-centric
The central courtyard is a true gathering place and the hub of community life at Priya Living.
  • Technology forward
We have WiFi in common areas and pull the latest technology solutions to simplify and enrich life for our residents.
  • Eco-conscious
From drought-resistant landscaping to energy-efficient appliances, to a permeable surface that gets rainwater into the soil of our courtyard, we seek to reduce our impact on the Earth.

Regardless of which Priya Property you call home, you can stay very, very busy here if you wish to. On any given day, there is a lot going on. Start your morning with yoga. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the courtyard. Learn the latest Bollywood dance moves. Take a class on Ayurvedic gardening. And end the day enjoying chai and chatting in the courtyard before Bollywood Movie Night. You can stay very, very busy here at Priya if you wish to. On any given day, there is a lot going on. It’s this aspect of living here, more than any other, that our residents tell us they enjoy the most.

Check out a typical day’s activities.

Meet Mahesh.

A self-proclaimed foodie, Mahesh loves the way that people come together at Priya Living. “Somehow they overcome language barriers. I always hear laughing.” And people, too, are drawn to Mahesh and his overflowing positive energy. In fact, he received the “Citizen of the Year” award from the City of Cupertino in 2012.

His love of fun and bringing people and ideas together started many years back. Born in northern India, Mahesh moved to Tanzania in the 1970s to set up the first radiator plant in a remote region. It was here, where he first developed his love of food and cooking from “hanging out” with the cooks in the hotels. In the 1990s, he moved to the island of St. Thomas with his wife Kamal and two sons. He’d been asked to run an exclusive jewelry store and accepted not because he was passionate about jewelry (though he came to be), but because he enjoyed the “wide variety of people that came into the shop.”

In the end, no matter what part of his life you ask him about: it always comes down to the people. We couldn’t agree more.
